1. Data Controllers 
  • Any personal information provided by you or gathered in connection with the Website is controlled by Analyticalmethods.ca and shared with our company host Wix.com platform.

  • All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers. Payments online can be securely completed using one of the two following service providers: PayPal and Stripe that collect information to process your payments and have their own privacy policies.   • Analyticalmethods.ca uses video third party hosting services; information collected by such companies is to track playback times and IP addresses accessing the videos. Please refer to their privacy policies.  

2. What Personal Information Do We Collect? Why? And Where?
  • “Personal Information” or “PI” is information that can be used to uniquely identify you personally. 

  • Personal information required to sign up for a membership are users name, email and a password. This information is required for login authentication and email provided can be used to contact members. Note that communications are archived and can be used for business improvement.   

  • Additional information in the “my account” settings can be added by the users, totally optional, but, if shared, this information is accessible by Analyticalmethods.ca and Wix.com. It can be used for market research purposes and business development.

  • When buying subscriptions on our website, payment details that includes credit card information and full name and other information are required to complete the transaction on the payment service provider secured portals (PayPal or Stripe); information shared by these service providers with Analyticalmethods.ca will be similar to the receipt that you obtain by email upon successful payment.

  • Analyticalmethods.ca will not ask you to save credit card details on its website or offer recurrent payment options. All plans and products are one-time payment for a specified quantity or time – details will be provided on the product or plan purchased.

  • Analyticalmethods.ca keeps track of the date of purchases and keeps track of subscription plans expiry dates. In case you need to inquire about this information – you can submit your request in the “contact us” form or email us at customerservice@analyticalmethods.ca

  • Any personal data provided are stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

  • Playback times, IP addresses and cookie information are logged by the video host provider that has its own privacy policy in a secure server and we are able to access this information to obtain analytics for expenses and business improvement purposes; in addition this may be used to track abuse or violations of our Terms and Conditions of Use policy.
